Digital Ham Radio

Ham Tux
Since becoming a ham, I've enjoyed operating the sound card digital modes of amateur radio on the High Frequency (HF) bands.  This consists of using a computer along side a HF radio for transmitting and decoding digital signals from around the world.  There are many modes of the digital sort, but I enjoy PSK-31 the most.  I have made many contacts on PSK-31 from around the world with less than 25 Watts output.

In 2014, I migrated from Windows 7 over to Linux.  Debian is the distribution of Linux that I use.  I have a project page on this site devoted to Linux.
